Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to leave the show in May 2021 to start Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having a mother during 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US election results while living in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact that it affected the people of her home country and gained an appreciation of the global reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
