 Charly Arnolt (born July 14, 1987) is an American sports broadcaster and television presenter for ESPN. [2][3][43 Charly Arnolt is most well-known for her time with WWE as a sportscaster/ring announcer between 2016 and 2021. At the time, she was also known as Charly Caruso. She is currently a back-up moderator and host of ESPN's First Take featuring Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim. Arnolt is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is Italian American. Arnolt started playing sports as a kid beginning with volleyball, softball gymnastics, then basketball. She hoped to compete in gymnastics in the Olympics but was forced to stop due to injuries. She also would like to play volleyball on the level of collegiate competition, however her height hindered her from taking part in the sport. In 2010 she joined WSAZ-TV Huntington as reporter. Her most well-known work is her parts in Spamalot's West End revival, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods and as The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West). Her performances have been rewarded by three Olivier Award nominations. She is also the co-host of Outnumbered. Compagno was a child of Katherine Bertsch (nee Bertsch) and John Compagno. Her father is Italian. There are two sisters older than her. William Harry Bertsch was her great-grandfather and earned the Silver Star during World War 2. The "Rose in Emily's Name" honors Bertsch. She earned a B.A. The University of Washington awarded her the Cadet of the Quarter Award for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps political science. She received her degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law with the title of J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006.Emily lives in New York City.
