Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her most famous character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The seventh season of the series concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian, of English descent. Sedgwick is a self-described Jewish and has claimed that she attends at Passover seders.
