Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th, 1967, is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003) The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners2013, Grown-Ups2010, and Lights Out (2016) are among her roles in films. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 through 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the show NCIS. Bello was raised in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. Her subject was in political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting through various New York theater productions after she graduated. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013, Bello wrote about her former partner Clare Munn's relationship with a same-sex partner. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we assign to ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28, 2015).
